Two Ballrooms Built for Different Kinds of Celebrations
We offer two ballrooms, each with its own personality. The Grand Ballroom is built for larger celebrations, with Roman Corinthian marble columns, crystal chandeliers, and a marble dance floor accented by customizable lighting. Use of the Grand Ballroom Patio, where our signature waterfall sits, is included with this room.
The Cascade Ballroom has a different feel entirely. Natural light pours through custom arched French doors, and the room features Tiffany accents, draped ceiling details, and a hand-carved marble dance floor shaped into an oval. Its adjacent manicured gardens are a favorite spot for guests to step outside for a drink or a quiet conversation.
Each ballroom comes with its own outdoor garden, private restrooms, and a private suite where the wedding party can prepare or take a moment away from the crowd. When the full house is used, the Waterfall can accommodate up to 800 guests, giving couples room for larger celebrations without moving between separate venues.
Ceremony Options for Every Season
Our outdoor grounds include landscaped gardens, marble water fountains, a gazebo, and a bridge, all of which make for a memorable ceremony setting when the weather cooperates. Guests are then led through arched French doors into a rotunda with a handmade blown glass chandelier, then into a cocktail room with a skylight and an onyx stone wall behind the bar. But Delaware weather does not always cooperate, and we know that. If the weather does not allow for an outdoor ceremony, we can host the ceremony inside the reception space and flip the room back during cocktail hour. That keeps the day moving without sending guests to a separate location.

Our cocktail hour is one of the most talked-about parts of the evening. It includes staffed culinary stations and a passed selection of more than 30 hors d’oeuvres. Dinner is a four-course, plated gourmet meal, and some of our most popular entree selections include our Champagne chicken, Filet of Scottish Salmon prepared a few different ways, and Chateau Briand.
